A Little to the Left Review: A New Puzzle Game to Keep You Busy for Hours

Are you looking for a game that will give you that cozy, Unpacking-like vibe? Look no further than A Little To The Left! Now, I know what you might think: "But wait, aren't these two games similar?" And while I can see why you might think that, the gameplay is actually quite different. But trust me, A Little To The Left is the closest you'll get to that warm and fuzzy feeling in 2022.

A Little to the Left is a tidy puzzle game where you'll sort and organize household objects to solve puzzles. The game features multiple solutions and a Daily Tidy Delivery offering a new, personalized puzzle daily. Perfect for casual puzzle game fans and those who enjoy a well-organized space, the game has over 75 delightful puzzles and charming illustrations with a mischievous cat that shakes things up. Play to earn fun badges and enjoy a satisfying and curious experience with A Little to the Left.

Pros

  • Puzzles: If you're a puzzle fan, you'll want to check out this game. It offers a wide variety of different puzzle types that will keep you entertained and challenged.

  • Story: Don't worry, there's none of that here! No need to worry about a heavy-handed storyline getting in the way of the puzzles. This game cuts straight to the good stuff - you have a general theme and vibe, and that's all you need!

  • Visuals: Neat, sleek, and on point.

  • Levels: With over 75 levels, this game will keep you entertained for a while! And, with a new unique puzzle added every day, you'll want to come back and play again and again!

  • Solutions: The game offers multiple solutions for each puzzle, making it an inclusive experience for players of all thinking and problem-solving styles. It's great that the game allows for different ways to solve the puzzles, which makes it more accessible to different players.

  • No Timer: If you're like me and don't have the patience for time pressure in puzzle games, then this game is perfect for you. There are no timers, no deadlines, just a relaxing and casual puzzle experience where you can take your time and enjoy the game at your own pace.

Cons

  • Hype: While this game is certainly a great game, I think the hype on social media might be a bit overblown. It's a fun puzzle game, but it's not necessarily the game of 2022/2023. It's still worth checking out, but don't expect it to change your life!

  • Description: While the game does involve organizing household objects, I wouldn't describe it as a "sort, stack, and organize" game. I think it's more of a puzzle game than anything else. It's not as similar to "Unpacking" as the description might suggest.

  • Multiplayer: Adding a multiplayer mode would make it even more fun and challenging. A co-op system where players must work together to solve the puzzles could be a great addition. It would add a new dynamic to the game and make it even more interesting.

The bottom line for this review is that if you love puzzle games, A Little To The Left is definitely worth checking out. If you're on the fence about whether to give it a try or not, why not also check out my review of the game "Unpacking" below, and compare the two!
